A one-piece ORFS hydraulic hose fitting is made as a single forged body that combines the hose tail and the ORFS female swivel nut. Crimping the tail onto the hose forms the joint directly in the body, so the assembly has fewer interfaces than a two-piece design.

Four-Step Crimping Procedure

1. Cut the hose square with a cut-off saw and clean any debris from the bore.
2. Mark the insertion depth on the hose cover using the data sheet.
3. Lubricate the hose tail and push the fitting in to the mark without twisting.
4. Crimp to the specified dimension, then verify the crimp OD with a vernier caliper.
