1. Confirm both ports against ISO 6149-1 and check that no cone seat, tapered thread or bonded-seal counterbore is present.
2. Inspect the O-rings and fit new seals of the correct size, free of cuts and hardening.
3. Clean the threads and the port face, and check that the shoulder seat is not scored.
4. Engage by hand until the shoulders contact both ports, and stop if resistance is felt.
5. Tighten to the standard torque using the wrench flat S.
6. Run a short low-pressure check before the machine returns to full duty.

Torque and Sealing Notes
