Four-Step Crimping Procedure

1. Cut the hose square with a sharp blade; a vertical cut protects the wire layer.

3. Apply assembly lubricant and push the hose onto the fitting up to the depth mark.
4. Crimp in one continuous stroke, then verify the crimp outside diameter with a caliper against the data sheet value.

Mounting the Flange Connection

• Face the flange head squarely onto the Code 61 pad and check the O-ring groove is clean.
