All ferrules share one geometry: a cylindrical, hollow body with serrations or locating features on the inner bore. Length (L) is the primary matching dimension, held to ±0.5 mm. Outer diameter tolerance is ±0.1 mm, so die selection stays predictable across batches.

Dash size and bore. Dash size equals the hose I.D. in 1/16-inch increments: 03 = 5 mm, 04 = 6 mm, 06 = 10 mm, 08 = 12 mm, 10 = 16 mm, 12 = 20 mm, 16 = 25 mm, 20 = 32 mm, 24 = 40 mm, 32 = 50 mm. Always match the dash size to the hose I.D., then confirm the cover O.D. against the applicable standard.

Material.

  • Carbon steel, cold formed: standard for the 1SN, 2SN, R7, 4SP/4SH, and R12 series
  • Stainless steel: recommended for chemical, pharmaceutical, and food service

Crimping Tools and Installation

Recommended equipment. Every series works with standard hydraulic crimping machines and common die sets. We provide reference crimp data and die selection for your machine model with every order, so no special tooling is required.

Installation steps:
