Four rules cover most of them. Route with bends at or above the hose&#8217;s minimum bend radius \u2014 a tighter bend kinks the reinforcement and the hose fails at that point, often months later and at pressure; if the routing forces a tight turn, use a 45\u00b0 or 90\u00b0 adapter fitting instead. Never let the hose twist while tightening an end: hold the body so torsion is not transferred into the hose, because twisting creates stress concentrations that surface later as spiral cracks.
