1. What a 2WJ Adapter Does
The 2WJ adapter converts a welded tube connection into a JIC female 74 degree seat connection. 3. How to Read a 2WJ Part Number
Every 2WJ adapter part number has three parts: the series prefix, the tube size and the seat dash size.

- Welding a tube of the wrong outside diameter into the socket. The symptom is an oversized gap and a joint that weeps at the weld line.
